This animation illustrates the process of  visual perception from the level of the eye to that of the brain.

Goals

• To observe the perception of visual information and the propagation of neural messages from the eye to the visual area of the cerebral cortex, via the optic nerve.
• To observe the beginnings of sensory messages at the level of the photoreceptive cells of the retina.
