How can I be informed of an update?

Simply by subscribing to our RSS feed.
It will allow you to be alerted when a new simulation is published.
What is RSS? The following is a definition as found on wikipedia:
Users of RSS content use software programs called "feed readers" or "feed aggregators". The user subscribes to a feed by entering a link to the feed into the reader program. The reader can then check the user's subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content since the last time it checked, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user. RSS formats are specified in XML (a generic specification for data formats). RSS delivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed," "webfeed," "RSS stream," or "RSS.

Are the simulations available in other languages?

eduMedia website is now available in 6 languages! eduMedia recommends users bookmark the website of their preferred language: Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.

How can I use eduMedia's simulations in my courses?

As easily as you use transparencies! Once your school has paid for an operating license, you just need to have your students in front of a PC (multimedia room) or you can project our simulations from your usual browser. If you wish to work off-line, you can download the simulations from our site. As the simulations are presented in a full-screen version without any commentary, it is up to you to choose the best way to teach the contents. After class, your students can access the simulations on our site to view them again. Each simulation comes with study sheets to help students go over material seen in class.

Can I include a simulation in a PowerPoint document?

Yes. Click here.

How can I view a downloaded simulation?

You just need to open your browser and drag the simulation (.swf file format) into it.

What configuration do I need to view Flash simulations?

To view the simulations presented on the site you need to have Flash Player 8 or a later version. It can be downloaded for free on the Adobe website. (To download the latest version of Flash Player, click Here). The animations can be played from any browser (Explorer – Netscape – Fire Fox…) on PC, Mac or Linux. Flash Player 8 now comes as a standard feature in the latest browsers.

I have plug-in Flash and can see some of the simulations but they do not seem to be working properly.

You are probably using an outdated version of plug-in Flash. You need to download the latest version of plug-in Flash. To download the latest version of Flash Player, click Here).

Do you provide customized simulations? Can any simulations be changed?

Yes ! And if we can add them to our catalog to enhance our offer, you will find that our prices are extremely attractive. Share your ideas with us.

Why is the Flash format the best choice for educational simulations?

For the moment, the Flash format offers the best compromise between size, graphic quality and interactivity. You do not need a software workshop or any training to run it so our animations are truly 'ready to use'! Zooming is possible on all the simulations simply by clicking on the right (Windows) or by holding the Ctrl key in and clicking (Mac). Thanks to the vectorial properties of Flash graphics, you will not see any deterioration in the quality.
