Introduction
Summary
Visualization of the relationship between the motor cortex area of the cerebral cortex and body muscles. These receive nerve messages, via long nerve fibers called motor nerves, from this specialized area of the brain.Note that the left hemisphere’s motor cortex controls muscles on the right side of the body, and the right motor cortex controls muscles on the left side of the body. The motor cortex is located in the frontal lobe of the cerebrum.

- To locate the primary motor area and explain its role in the control of movement.
