Summary

This animation shows the interaction between male and female gametes  in the reproductive  pathways during fertilization, then the first cell divisions in the future embryo, its migration to the uterine cavity and its implantation in the endometrium.

Goals

• To illustrate the different phases of fertilization inside the female body.
• To observe the first  stages of development of the fertilized egg.
