Summary

As is the case for all vertebrates, the brain of the frog is connected by nerves, on one hand,  to sensory organs  which send signals to that brain, and, on the other hand, to muscles to which the brain gives orders. Thus, between the moment when the eyes of a frog capture an image of a form of prey and that when the frog jumps to catch the prey animal, several signals move through its body via its nervous system.
